It is now the season for regular pedicures.  Below you will find some tips and recipes for some at-home pampering that can be done in conjuction with your salon or home pedicures.  (If you have a favorite tip, please email it to us at info@barefootbling.com and we will share it with everyone in our next newsletter!)

1.  Apply Top Coat over your nail polish every 2-3 days to prolong nail color shine and help prevent chipping.

2. Easy Moisturizing Foot Bath : Fill tub or footbath with warm-water. Add your favorite bath salts and one tablespoon of olive oil. The salts soften dry skin and calluses, and the olive oil moisturizes. Soak feet for 10 to 15 minutes.

3. LemonFoot Scrub:  Mix 1 cup Epsom Salt, 3 teaspoons olive oil and the juice of one small lemon. Immediately massage soles of feet (do not give the Epsom Salt time to dissolve), paying extra attention to any areas of dry or thick skin. Rinse throughly with warm water, and pat dry.

4. Foot Bath Massage:  Place several smooth marbles in the bottom of your foot bath.  When you move your feet over the marbles they act as soothing and stimulating massagers.

5.  Moisturize:  Be sure to moisturize your feet at least nightly to keep them looking their best.  We love our super-emolient Lotion Candles available at our online boutique.
